0.2.0: New level system!


Its been a little while because this update, even if it didn't change the game a huge amount from a user's perspective, involved a lot of restructuring and other time consuming tasks.

essentially, I've readied the game to create non-procedurally generated levels which should make the game a lot more interesting

Significant updates include:

  • lighting over hall - I changed a lot about the lighting, including adding glow to some objects an making the whole environment darker overall which should make the game look a lot better
  • 1 preset dungeon layout as well as laying the ground work for many more with new nodes and autotiling
  • A new UI for selecting levels 
  • and a few bug fixes that had to do with swapping you active spell and the death screen

Now that this update is done I am hoping to start releasing a lot of new content in the next month or so including (maybe) multiplayer
