Update v.0.3.0: ITEMS! (A lot of items)


Its been a while since the last update and for good reason. I've been working on my favorite update yet that should make the game feel a lot more fun and unique.

The main point of the update (and the next many updates) is to add new ways to modify your spells including:

  • Crystals
    • Crystals will make your spell auto shoot when certain conditions are met (for example, if your health goes below 20)
  • Scrolls
    • Scrolls will apply an effect to you when you cast the spell theyre attached to
  • Ultimates
    • Ultimates will activate a powerful ability when you gain enough activation energy, currently gained by casting your spell many times
  • Runes (already existed but they've been changed)
    • Rune levels now do something although many other items dont have level bonuses coded yet

I also spent about a week on bux fixes and QOL updates with major changes including:

  • A settings menu
  • Fixed player collision shape not flipping
  • fixed secret counter in random gen
  • added a warning for applying useless runes
